Re: Diamine Oxidase (DAO) Supplements

Hello, I'm not Lara, however I just wanted to chime in and recommend you to try getting more DAO from natural sources. There's evidence that DAO supplements might be binding to your DNA cells and the other side effects are yet to be discovered. "Diamine oxidase is a Cu-containing enzyme which i...

Re: Fish Oil Fact vs Fiction

Noticed my post got several views but no replies. :( If anyone has any thoughts, or research to share, I'd greatly appreciate. And def curious on Dr B's opinion if she's reading this! Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil was recommended to me for EPA/DHA and Vits D & A. As better alt to potentially ranci...

Re: Fish Oil Fact vs Fiction

Hi! I don't think parasites are a concern for cod fish oil because it's usually pasteurized as far as I know. Re: Hypothalamic amenorrhea and anemia. Low ferritin. Any connection?

My aunt had the same period problems as me, except for that she didn't lose any weight and didn't do low carb, but she had very low ferritin. She went to a doctor who prescribed her high iron, zinc and copper doses, and she got her period back in 5 months after starting supplementing and restoring f...

Re: Hypothalamic amenorrhea and anemia. Low ferritin. Any connection?

Just another thing I forgot to mention is that ~1 year ago I also started intermittent fasting (16/8). I stopped fasting only in May, and started eating 3-5 times a day, regularly. Before than from October to May I was only eating 2 times a day. I only now realize how damaging it could be to my fert...
