Bio-identical progesterone

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has taken bio-identical progesterone while
postpartum? I ordered some (Ray Peat’s Progest E) as I’ve heard it can help regulate postpartum hormones and prevent hair loss and other symptoms. I also suspect I’ve been estrogen dominant since before pregnancy but I haven’t had my hormones tested. Thank you!
