Help Heavy Spotting Before Period

Hi Lara,

I am 42 and the last few months i have been having heavy spotting the week before my period. It is bought on by bowel movements where i bleed heavy and then it stops and turns to brown only to return the next day with a bowel movement. I also bleed heavily after sex but then it stops. Its so confusing. All my pelvic scans are normal and my bloods come back all normal but i know it isn't normal.
Any advice would be so appreciated as i can't find or receive any answers.
