Inositol

Post by Great_Joy »

Loved your Inositol podcast.

For teens with strong cramps and anxiety is Sensitol ( Designs for Health, Myo+ D Chiro + ALA) or plain Myo - Inositol better.

Also - do you have any posts with links to suggested brand and supps

Thank you!

Sensitol could be a good product as long as the myo-iD-chiro-inositol are in at least a 40:1 ratio (ie. not too much d-chiro). I couldn't tell from their ingredient list but you could ask them.

I am similarly unsure if I should use plain myo-inositol or with D-chiro (in the right proportion). Online and in the period repair manual the recommendation seems to tend towards with D-chiro. Yet in the new book it says the plain version might be better (or I misunderstand something).

I am struggling with period issues (had an eating disorder in the past, and it never came back) and I seem to have an issue with too many male hormones as well, but about that I am not 100% sure.
